PES University is kick starting their admission process on October 03, 2019 with the release of application form of PESSAT 2020, their all India online entrance exam. The exam acts as the gateway for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Courses offered by PES University are B.Tech, BBA / BBA HEM, B.Des, BBA LLB, BA LLB, BCom LLB, B.Arch, MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Tech by research, PhD.
PESSAT 2020 tentative dates for B.Tech program have been updated at pessat.pes.edu. Online registration will open on October 3, 2019. The last date to apply for students outside Bengaluru will be April 17, 2020. Whereas students who will opt for center in the city can apply until April 22, 2020. Slot booking will open on April 24, 2020. The exam will be held in May, and its result will be announced by end of the same month. Its first counselling will be in June, second in July. Last date for B.Tech admission is August 3, 2020.
For B.Arch, NATA scores have to be uploaded by May. First counselling will be in May or June, second will be in June or July. Last date for admission is same as that for B.Tech.
For all other programs, slot bookings will open on January 6, 2020. The PS Scholastic Aptitude Test will take place between January 15, 2020, to July. Online registrations will close in July. Results will be announced three days after exam. August 3, 2020, will be the last date for UG admissions, and September 3, 2020 will be that for all PG programs.
PESSAT 2020 for admisison in B.Tech courses will be held at various test centers across the nation. However, the test centers for PESSAT 2020 for admission in other courses shall be notofied separately. The application form to apply for PESSAT 2020 will be available online on pessat.pes.edu only.
PES University will conduct PESSAT 2020 for B.Tech at Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Madikeri, Hassan, Tumkur, Chikmagalur, Udipi, Karwar, Shimoga, Chitradurga, Davangere, Haveri, Bellary, Hubli/Darwad, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Raichur, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Bidar in Karnataka. In Hyderabad, Vijayawada in AP. Exam centers in Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, JnK, Jharkhand, Kerala, MP, will respectively be in one city each at Guwahati, Patna, Ahmedabad, Jammu, Ranchi, Ernakulam, Bhopal.
In Maharashtra, the exam will take place in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur; at New Delhi in New Delhi, Bhubaneswar in Odisha, Chandigarh in Punjab and Haryana, Jaipur and Kota in Rajasthan. Chennai and Coimbatore will be centres in Tamil Nadu. Lucknow, Kolkata will be centers in Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
PES will conduct PESSAT 2020 for all other courses offered at Ring Road Campus and Electronic City campus, at PES University Ring Road Campus, Bengaluru. Whereas for courses offered at Hanumanth Nagar campus, the exam center will be PES University Hanumanth Nagar Campus, Bengaluru.
Besides PESSAT, exam scores of KCET, NATA, MAT, CAT, PGCET, CMAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE are accepted depending upon the program.
