64,285 Less Candidates Taking JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 April Attempt; 10.5 Lakh Registrations Overall

For the JEE Main 2019 Aril attempt, the total number of registration for both paper 1 and paper 2 are 10,51,508. The number of candidates has fallen for this attempt. In the January attempt, a total of 11,09,250 candidates have registered.

In paper 2 alone the total number of registrations received are 1,15,767 for the April attempt and for the January attempt the total registration was 1,80,052. This shows a fall in the number of registration by 64,285 candidates.

The number of females who have registered for Paper 2 April attempt is 71,010 and the number of male candidates who have registered for paper 2 is 98,756. In the January exam, the number of female candidates who have registered for paper 2 is 75, 658 and the number of males who had registered is 1,04,393. The number of male and female registration have both declined for the second attempt.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 is being held for admission in B.Arch/B.Plan admission in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. The result of the paper 2 exam will be announced by May 15, 2019.

After the exam is over for each shift the memory based answer key and questions are uploaded. The exam is in complete online mode, therefore, the memory based answer keys and question papers are made available after the exam.

The coaching centers like Allen, FIITJEE, Career Points, etc also come up with the memory based answer key and JEE Main 2019 analysis.

NTA will upload the official response sheet and question paper of all the shifts and days after the exam is over. Also, the official answer key is uploaded a few days after the exam is over. To check the official answer key the candidates have to access the login using their application number and password.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 exam contains a total of 82 questions and is of a total of 390 marks. There are 30 questions in Part 1 (Mathematics), Part 2 (Aptitude) has 50 questions and the drawing section has 2 questions. Each question carries 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 marks for each wrong answer.
