In a situation where almost all sectors are affected by COVID-19, Young talents of Chandigarh university were able to grab excellent opportunities from some well-known companies. Over 350 companies participated this year in the placement drive of the University. With this Monumental placement day, students were able to turn the tables changing the crisis into opportunity.

As per the data shared by the University on the website, 350+ companies participated in the Chandigarh University Placement drive. These companies were from various sectors providing equal opportunity to every student of every discipline. The jobs were offered in the Banking sector, Product companies, Automobile/ Aerospace sector, Electronic/ Telecom department and others. Companies from the E-commerce sector, IT Consultancy, Software companies, Payment apps also participated. Some of the top recruiters of the Chandigarh University Placement Drive include Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS, Deloitte, PayPal, Red Hat, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, myKarma, L&T, Birla Soft, DXC Technology, Philips Innovation Campus and others.
Cognizant Technologies Solutions India Pvt Ltd offered 607 positions in the firm. Some other famous companies such as Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. brought 287 and 162 positions to the placement table respectively. Another Company, Capgemini India Pvt Ltd Altran, officially hired 351 students of the university. DXC Technology Indiariet Limited offered 101 seats in their reputed company. Also, Birla Soft India Ltd, Coforge Ltd. (Formerly NIIT Technologies Ltd) put forward 80 and 61 vacancies respectively. L&T Technology Services also came forward with 60 seats in its reputed firm.
The highest package that was offered in this placement drive was of Rs. 35 lakhs. Package of 25 lakh and above were offered by around 09 companies, a package of 20 lakh per annum was offered by 17 companies, 15 lakh per annum by 24 companies, 10 lakh per annum by 50 companies, 07 lakhs per annum by 95 companies and 05 lakh annum by 182 companies.
