In India, more than 2.9 crore are enrolled in undergraduate programs, courses after 12th. These many, and many more hold class 12th pass qualification. With government jobs being most popular job option for a large part of the youth in India, 12th pass government jobs present a golden gateway for them all, to build their career.
Delhi Police is hereby recruiting candidates with 12th pass qualification, to the post of Head Constable Ministerial. For this post, the police department has announced that they have 554 vacancies, with 372 for males and 182 for females. General, EWS, OBC, SC, ST vacancies for males are respectively 140, 37, 86, 56, 53. And that for females there are 69, 18, 42, 27, 26.
For this government job eligible for class 12th pass candidates, the age limit is 18 to 25 years as on July 1, 2019. SC/ST candidates get relaxation for 5 years, OBC get 3, UR/EWS PWD get 10, OBC PWD get 13, and SC/ST PWD get 15 years.
Besides education and age, the other eligibility criteria are to have 30 wpm english typing speed on computer or 25 wpm hindi typing speed, and having specific physical standards.
Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment 2019 application form is now available at delhipolice.nic.in.
To apply, aspirants need to go to delhipolice.nic.in and click the text “Apply online for the post of head constable (ministerial) in delhi police exam”. Then click on the register link. Fill all details in the form, upload documents, and pay fees. The application fee us Rs 100. SC, ST, Ex-S, PWD, and all women candidates are exempted from the fee.
Delhi Police will issue admit card for the computer based exam, date for which will be announced soon, at delhipolice.nic.in.
Selection Process
Delhi Police will conduct four things – computer based exam, physical endurance and measurement tests, typing test on computer, computer formatting test. The first one will be of 100 marks, second will be qualifying, third will be of 25 marks, and fourth will again be qualifying.
Selection will be out of 125 marks of computer based exam and typing test, subject to qualifying the other two.
Computer based exam will have five parts A, B, C, D, E. They will respectively be general awareness, quantitative aptitude (basic arithmetic skill), general intelligence, english language (basic knowledge), and the last part will be computer fundamentals, ms excel, ms word, communication, internet, www, web browsers.
