The Health Department, Zilla Parishad, Solapur is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 3824 vacancies. The vacancies are in different medical and paramedical posts in Covid Care Centers and other dedicated COvid hospitals. An official employment notification is published in this regard at the official website i.e. zpsolapur.gov.in. Along with the detailed advertisement, the application form is also published. The advertised vacancies are bifurcated across different posts and different Covid Care Centers. There are 104 vacancies available for the post of Physician, 71 for the post of Anesthetist, 454 vacancies for the post of Medical Officer, 443 for the post of Ayush Medical Officer, 2683 vacancies for the post of Staff Nurse and 69 vacancies for the post of X-Ray Technician. Candidates must have the minimum educational qualifications within the specified age limit in order to apply for individual posts.,
Candidates below the age of 70 years and have an MD in Medicine are eligible to apply for the posy of Physician. In order to apply for the post of Anesthetist, candidates must have a Degree/Diploma in Anesthesia and must be within the age of 70 years. Candidates within the age range of 70 years and having an MBBS degree are eligible to apply for the post of Medical Officer. Those having a BAMS/BUMS qualification and within the age limit of 38 years are eligible to apply for the post of Ayush Medical Officer, The upper age limit for this post is relaxable to 43 years for candidates belonging to backward classes. Candidates within the age of 38 years and having qualification of either GNM or B.Sc. Nursing is eligible to apply for the posy fo Staff Nurse. Those belonging to the backward classes are eligible to apply for the post till up to 43 years of age. Candidates of up to 70 years of age and who are retired X-Ray Technicians are eligible to apply for the posy of X-Ray Technician.
The selection of eligible candidates is to be done after the completion of the application process. The marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam along with the consideration of the weightage of marks allocated to the higher education and experience of the candidates are considered together to prepare the merit lists. Those who are selected in the merit lists are eligible for appointment to the aforementioned posts for an initial period of 3 months.
