The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur has conducted the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2022 today, on Sunday, January 2, 2022. The exam was held from 9.30 a.m to 12.40 p.m, at various test centres across the country. The official answer key of XAT 2022 will release in a few days. However, the unofficial memory based answer key is now available online. Various coaching centres and independent educators are releasing the answer key on their YouTube channels. Some are even solving the questions and providing explanation for each answer.
Some of these institutes which are releasing the answer key are – Unacademy, Byju’s and educators like Mission CAT and Anshu Agarwal, etc. These educators also shared the analysis of the exam soon after it was over. Most of them agreed that the XAT 2022 written exam was of easy to moderate difficulty and the cut off marks for this year would be high compared to the previous years.

Candidates can use the answer key to evaluate scores in the exam. For this, candidates need to add 1 mark for each correct answer and deduct 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Also, this time, 0.10 marks penalty shall be done for every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions.
The official XAT 2022 answer key is expected to be released by 4-5 January 2022. It will be released online at xatonline.in. With it, the question paper and response sheet will also be provided. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer key. The submitted challenges will then be evaluated and based on it, the final answer key will be prepared. The result of XAT 2022 will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key.
The XAT 2022 had a total of 101 questions, out of which 100 were Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and one question was an essay question. The essay question will only be evaluated after the GD and PI rounds of the XAT 2022. The XAT 2022 exam had two parts and four sections to answer. Part A had three sections, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation with 26, 21, and 28 questions respectively in each section. The second part had two sections for General Knowledge section, which had 25 MCQs and one essay question.
