Member Secretary Haryana State Child Protection Society, Women and Child Development Department (WCD) have published an advertisement to fill up vacancies for posts such as Chairperson and Member. The official recruitment advertisement is available at the website wcdhry.gov.in. Eligible and intending candidates domiciled in the state of Haryana are invited to apply for recruitment to the posts. 08 vacancies have been advertised in all. The last date of receipt of applications on the prescribed proforma is September 25, 2020, till 05.00 PM.
As per the official recruitment notification published by the WCD, the vacancies are for posts of CWC Chairperson & Member CWC/JJB. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Chairperson (Child Welfare Committee) in Yamunanagar. On the other hand, for the post of Member (Child Welfare Committee), 01 vacancy is available on Jind and 02 vacancies are available in Yamunanagar. In addition, for the post of Member (Juvenile Justice Board), one vacancy for female candidates is available in Gurugram, 01 vacancy is available is Jind and 02 vacancies are available in Yamunanagar. Intending applicants must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. In order to apply for the post of JJB Member, candidates must be at least 35 years old and have at least 07 years of experience of working with children in the field of education, health, or welfare activities. Candidates who are practising professionals having a degree in child psychology or psychiatry or sociology or in the field of law are also eligible to apply for this post. On the other hand, candidates who have attained the age of 35 years and have 07 or more years of experience of working with children in any of the aforementioned fields are eligible to apply for the post of Chairperson and Member of CWC. Practising professionals who have a degree in psychology, psychiatry, social work, sociology, human development, law or are retired judicial officers are also eligible to apply for recruitment to the aforementioned posts.
Selected candidates will be appointed for a term of 03 years only. During this tenure, they will be paid a fixed salary as per sitting in addition to sitting allowance, travel allowance and other benefits and allowances as applicable. However, only those candidates who are domiciled in the state of Haryana will be selected.

Along with the application, copies of supporting, documents must also be enclosed. However, candidates must note that direct applications received at the Headquarter of WCD will not be accepted.
