West Bengal Public Service Commission has announced the result of Sub Inspector of School recruitment exam today, at pscwbapplication.in. The commission has published an interview schedule in which roll numbers, names, father’s names of qualified candidates are published along with their interview dates. Candidates whose names are on this list have qualified on the basis of the screening test, to appear for the interview.
To check WBPSC School Inspector Result 2019, candidates need to visit pscwbapplication.in and click the link on “schedule of interview for rectt. to the post of sub inspector of schools in the west bengal subordinate educational service under the school education department, govt. of w.b advt. no. 22/2018”. A 114 pages long PDF file will open. As per it, the interviews are scheduled from September 19, 2019, to December 31, 2019. All candidates can download interview call letter from September 9.
As can be seen, the interviews have been scheduled for a total of 103 days. This has been done to accommodate the large number of candidates who have qualified. On each day, eighteen candidates are being called for the interviews. Candidates are divided into two lots for each interview date. In the first lot, interview will begin at 11 am and in second, it will start at 1.30 pm. For the first slot, candidates need to arrive by 10.30 am, and for the second, they need to report by 12.30 pm.
All candidates who have been declared qualified can download interview call letters from Monday. It is expected that they will be asked to login using either enrolment number or first name, and date of birth to get their call letters.
Although interview date is specified in the result cum interview schedule itself, the venue for the examination will be provided through call letters. Moreover, specific instructions for the interview, need to be seen from it.
The interview dates are: September 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30; October 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 31; November 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29; December 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 31.
WBPSC had published advertisement number 22/2018 in the month of July last year. Applications were invited until August. Then the preliminary screening test was held on October 7. A little less than a year later, now finally result of that test has been published. Considering that interviews will go on until the end of the year, final results for this recruitment are expected next year.
Recruitment of Sub Inspector in Schools in the West Bengal Subordinate Educational Service under the Schools Education Department, Govt of West Bengal, is for 338 vacancies. It includes 176 vacancies of unreserved candidates, 74 vacancies of SC candidates, 20 vacancies of ST candidates, 34 vacancies of OBC A, 24 vacancies of OBC B, and 10 for PWD candidates. The pay for this post is Rs 9,000 – Rs 40,500 in pay band 4 plus grade pay Rs 4,700.
