WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 Result Declared; Know What Next

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 Result on its official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The result has been declared on July 26, 2019, through the online mode. The WBJEE JENPAUH exam was held on June 30, 2019. Candidates can check the results from the official portal of WBJEEB. The result is released in the form of rank cards only.

To check the result, candidates will have to visit the official website to which the link is provided above. Next, click on the relevant link to the WBJEE JENPAUH Result 2019. Then you will have to login by entering details like application number, password. After submitting the details you will be directed to the Rank card of WBJEE JENPAUH 2019. Candidates are required to download the rank card and print out the same for future reference.

The result for WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 contain all relevant ranks and total score. The scores of the candidates in the result is based on the answers that the candidates have marked in the exam as right or wrong. For every right, answer the candidates were given 2 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks were deducted. The ranks of the candidates depend on their scores in the exam. The candidates who score the highest marks will also bag the highest rank. 

In case two candidates secure the same score, then the tie-breaking criteria will be applied. The criteria are used in the following steps – the candidate with less negative marking in Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects taken together will be given a higher rank. Candidate with more positive marks in Biology & Chemistry subjects taken together will be given a higher rank. Candidate with more positive marks in Biology & Physics subjects taken together will be given a  higher rank. The candidate who has less negative marks in Biology & Chemistry subjects taken together will be given a higher rank. Candidate with less negative marks in Biology & Physics subjects taken together will be given a higher rank. And if the tie continues then the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank.

After the WBJEE JENPAUH Result 2019 is declared, the counseling process begins. The counseling is conducted by the respective institutions. WBJEEB does not conduct any counseling or admission process. For B.Sc. Nursing course, Central Selection Committee (Nursing) conducts the counseling. For admission in courses like B.M.L.T., B.A.S.L.P., B.Sc.(OTT), B.Sc.(PT), B.Sc.(PA), counseling is conducted by the WBUHS. For admission in B.P.T. courses, the Department of Health & Family Welfare conducts the counseling. Successful candidates are advised to seek counseling information about courses from the respective institutions’ offices.

WBJEEB JENPAUH is conducted for admissions into courses like B.Sc. Nursing, B.M.L.T., B.A.S.L.P., B.Sc.(OTT), B.Sc.(PT), B.Sc.(PA), etc. the exam is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) annually.
