The examination was scheduled to begin from June 01, 2021 onwards. The heads of the schools are directed to collect the marksheets and pass certificates from the camp offices. However, no student will be allowed to collect their documents from the schools. This year, only guardians can collect the hard copies of their wards’ results from the respective schools and institutions.
The evaluation criteria that have been formulated for this year will give 50% weightage to the Class 9 exams and 50% on the internal assessments. A total of 2 lakh students have registered for the WB Madhyamik examinations this year. In case a student is not satisfied with their scores, they can sit for a special examination only after the Covid-19 situation gets better.
