Vadodara Municipal Corporation invites online applications for the post of Female Health Worker, Lab Technician, Medical Officer and Multi Purpose Health Worker. Candidates interested in the recruitment can download the official notification for all the posts from vmc.gov.in. The recruitment to the said posts is announced under Health Main Officer department of VMC. The conducting body has announced 77 Vacancies for Female Health Worker, 12 for Lab Technician, 28 for Medical Officer and 160 for Multi Purpose Health Officer. Eligible candidates can submit their forms before August 08, 2020, by 11:59 PM.
Candidates have to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the conducting body. To apply for Female Health Worker, candidates must have passed 10th standard and Female Health Worker Basic Training Course recognized by the Government. Candidates intending to apply for Lab Technician must possess Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology or Biochemistry. In addition, they must have a Diploma in Lab Technician or M.L.T Course of Medical Technology or one year Medical Technology course. Those who wish to apply for Medical Officer should have a Degree of M.B.B.S. or qualification as specified in the first and second schedule of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 12th pass candidates who have basic knowledge of computer with CCC, DOEACC certificate are eligible for the post of Multi Purpose Health Officer. It is compulsory for candidates to have excellent knowledge of both Gujarati and English language.
In addition to the educational criteria, candidates also have to fulfil the age limit. The minimum age limit for all the posts is 18 years. Candidate’s age must not exceed that of 30 years if applying for Female Health Worker, 36 years for Lab Technician, 35 years for Medical Officer and 31 years for Multi Purpose Health Officer.
Eligible candidates can submit their forms against the posts, they have to visit the official website, vmc.gov.in. To get the application form link, candidates have to click on recruitment > “Apply Online” link against the post name. Before submitting the form, candidates must refer to the ‘How to Apply’ section. While submitting the application form, candidates are also asked to make a payment of the application fee. They have to pay Rs. 500/- only. For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe the application fee is Rs. 100/-. The fee can be paid through the online process using the credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking. Candidates should keep the receipt of the payment and should be carried to the interview/ written/ oral test along with the call letter.
