Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University has commenced the VITEEE 2022 application process on December 02, 2021. The last date for the application form is not yet released on the official website as of now. The candidates who possess the basic eligibility put forth by the university can fill the VITEEE application form on the official portal, vit.ac.in.
VITEEE 2022: Steps for Registration
The basic eligibility for applying to VITEEE 2022 is passing the class 12 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from any board with minimum pass marks. The following steps can be helpful in filling the VITEEE 2022 application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of VIT, viteee.vit.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, find the registration link and fill the same with email id, domicile, gender, DOB, mobile number, etc
Step 3: Next generate the password and user id and use the same to log in for the application form
Step 4: After this, move to the document section and upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature in the prescribed size
Step 5: Next, pay the application fee applicable to the candidate’s category on the payment section
Step 6: In the end, review the list of details mentioned on the VITEEE 2022 application form one last time and click on the submit button
The prescribed application fee for VITEEE 2022 application form is INR 1250 and INR 1150 from offline and online mode respectively. The application fee, if paid via an online gateway, is equal to INR 1050.
VITEEE 2022 exam is going to have 80 questions from Maths / Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude subjects. The examination is going to be held for a duration of 90 minutes. There is a prescribed marking scheme of 1 mark for each correct answer and no negative marking is introduced for the wrong answer marked by the candidate.
VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) is conducted annually to provide admission to students in B.Tech courses offered by any of its four campuses, namely, Amravati, Vellore, Chennai, and Bhopal. Last year, the examination was conducted in the remote proctored mode citing the pandemic. However, the official prospectus of VITEEE 2022 will be announced soon and therein the students can check the exam pattern.
