Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the online slot booking for VITEEE 2019. The candidates will be able to book their slots for the entrance exam by online mode only. VITEEE 2019 Online Test Booking System (VIT OTBS) is available online at vit.ac.in. The window for online slot booking is open until March 30, 2019.
The candidates can book their slots for VITEEE 2019 by visiting the official website. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the link which says “VITEEE 2019 Slot Booking Started”. Next, the candidates need to log in by entering their Application Number and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. Read all the instructions very carefully and then proceed by clicking on “Book a Slot” button. In the next screen, the candidates will have to select the test name, test city, the subject chosen for VITEEE 2019, choose your test date preference, and select the required test center.
After the candidates fill in all the necessary information, then in the next screen, the slot for VITEEE 2019 will be highlighted. Click on the “Book” button against the slot which you want to choose. Then, click on the “Ok” button to confirm the slot and then click on the “Confirm” button to submit the slot selected by the candidate.
The candidates should note that the slot once booked cannot be changed. Hence, the candidates should be careful while booking a slot. There are many students who still don’t understand the importance of this facility.
Think of VITEEE 2019 Slot Booking as booking a seat for the movie. Just like for the movie, you have to select the seat, date and time, likewise, in VITEEE Slot Booking, the candidates have to select the test date, time, and test center at which they wish to appear for the entrance exam.
There are various factors which a candidate should keep in mind before they confirm the slot chosen by them. First of all, check that the VITEEE 2019 slots as chosen by you are not clashing with the other entrance exam dates. Secondly, check that there is an ample amount of time for your relax and prepare for the other entrance exam.
Once the slot booking process is over, the Institute then issues the Admit Card to the registered candidates. The Institute also issues the VITEEE 2019 Admit Card to those candidates who do not book their slot for the entrance exam. However, in such a case, the admit card consist of the exam details such as date, timings, address of test center, etc is as per the slot allotted by the Institute.
The admit card for VITEEE 2019 is available for download automatically when a candidate completes the slot booking process. Once they complete the slot booking part, in the next screen, they will get a link for downloading the Admit Card. Click on the link and then finally download and take its print out of it.
Candidates who have applied for VITEEE 2019 must check the exam pattern. Solving the mock test according to it will help to prepare for the test better. Also, practice past year papers to know the type of questions that can appear in the paper. In the 2 Hours 30 minutes computer-based test, there will be 125 questions of 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers. The paper will be divided into four sections naming Physics, Chemistry, English with 40 questions each and Mathematics/ Biology with 5 questions.
