The UPTET 2018 conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) examination is now over. The exam was held today i.e. on November 18, 2018. The first shift of the paper has already ended and now the second shift will be starting from 3 P.M. There were some major changes introduced in the UPTET 2018 examination, and made the people curious and eager about the reviews.
Now, that the first shift of the examination has been successfully conducted and the UPTET Answer Key 2018 has been released. So, people are willing to know the reaction given by the candidates about the changes and the paper. Candidates taking the UPTET 2018 paper gave a satisfactory reaction, according to the candidates the paper this year was neither very difficult nor very easy. Most of the candidates said that the examination could not have been framed better.
As per candidates, the pattern of UPTET this year was based on NCERT pattern and also there were some changes in the syllabus. One of them being the introduction of Pedagogy in the paper. On being asked about the toughest part, the candidates told that physiology was a bit twisted and it was not like the questions that use to come every year.
As per the candidate’s reaction, we found that many of the candidates were very sure on being able to clear UPTET 2018. Most of the candidates were sure on scoring marks more than 100 in the examination. We could figure out that even those candidates who did not take any coaching classes were also very sure on clearing the paper this time.
UPTET use to get conducted in pen paper mode with only objective type questions. There were two shifts of papers in UPTET, for which two hours time is allotted to the candidates. There are a total of 150 questions in each paper each question carrying 1 mark. Paper I is for Primary Teacher of class I-V that has five sections: Child Development and Pedagogy, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language II (English/ Urdu/ Sanskrit), Mathematics, Environmental Studies, with 30 question in each section.
Now, after the examination candidates should also know that the minimum marks required to qualify the UPTET examination are 60% or more. Candidates qualifying the examination will be considered TET pass and Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided school management shall consider the TET scores in the recruitment process. The result of UPTET 2018 is declared soon after the commencement of examination on the official website. Candidate will need to remember their roll numbers to check the result online.
