National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing UGC NET 2018 admit card tomorrow. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from November 19, 2018, and it will be available at ntanet.nic.in. The admit card is mandatory to be carried by the candidates to the examination center, therefore candidates must download it and take a printout of the same. The examinations are to start from December 18, 2018.
To download UGC NET 2018 admit card candidates must remember the login credentials that was generated at the at the time of registration. As NTA will release the admit card on the official website ntanet.nic.in. The candidates have to visit the official website to download the admit card. The candidates have to enter the application number and password. After downloading the admit card candidates have to take the printout of hall ticket. UGC NET Dec Admit Card 2018 contains Name of the candidate, Number, Address, Application number, Venue of the test, date of test, Subject Code, Category.
Here the candidate should note that the UGC NET examination is lined up on December 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22, 2018. But the NTA will issue the admit card on the same day for all the days on which exam is holding.
Along with the admit card candidate will have to carry a passport size photograph, a valid photo identification proof, that is any one of the mentioned documents: PAN card, Aadhar Card, Driving license, Voter Id, Passport. The PwD certificate if applicable is also to be carried by the candidates.
UGC NET will be an online test. Till the last time the examination mode of NET was offline (pen paper mode). After the formation of NTA, the mode has been changed to Online. This will the first time when the candidates have to undergo the online examination. For the better practices, NTA also introduced mock test platform for the candidates.
Although, the pattern of examination will be the same. So there are two papers that will be conducted on the same day with a break of 30 minutes between the two, the questions will be objective type only.
Paper I: The paper I will be consisting of 50 questions that are to be completed in 1 hour time, the total marks that candidates can score in this paper is 100. The question in this section is mainly form Reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. After the completion of this paper, candidates will have to take, paper II: There will a total number of 100 questions for 200 marks in this section. candidates will have to solve the questions in 2 hours time. This paper will completely depend on the subject selected by the candidate.
After the exam, the Agency will release the answer key and will invite the objections on it. For availing the answer key and OMR sheet the candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/-. After improving the answer key NTA will release the final result.
Candidates who will be qualifying this examination must now that the result will be valid for 3 years, however, if a candidate has already joined M.Phil. / Ph.D then it will be considered from the date of declaration of NET result or joining date.
