Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the official notification advertising the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer, Foreman, Senior Scientific Assistant and Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor. As per the vacancy notice, UPSC has announced the recruitment for 42 vacant posts. Aspirants interested in recruitment can download the Advt. No. 11/2020 through upsc.gov.in. Submit the application form before the last date of online recruitment application (ORA) submission, October 15, 2020.
As per the vacancy notice, UPSC has announced 02 vacancies for Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance), 02 vacancies for Foreman (Computer Science), 03 vacancies for Senior Scientific Assistant (Computer), 10 for Senior Scientific Assistant (Mechanical), 10 for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Clinical Haematology), 02 for Senior Scientific Assistant (Electrical), 05 for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Immuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion), 02 openings for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Medical Oncology) and 06 vacancies for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Neonatology).
Selection of candidates is done based on the interview round. On the basis of the educational and work experience, aspirants are shortlisted for the interview. They have to obtain minimum qualifying marks to get appointed for the vacant posts. For General/ EWS category the minimum qualifying marks are 50 marks, for OBC is 45 marks and SC/ST/ PH is 40 marks out of 100 marks. However, UPSC may conduct recruitment test as per the requirement.
Interested candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria before they start the registration process. Those who wish to apply for Assistant Engineer post should possess a bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject. Candidates intending to apply for Foreman (Computer Science) should have passed degree exam in Computer Engineering or M. Sc in Computer Science. To apply for Senior Scientific Assistant, candidates must have an engineering degree in relevant discipline. Those who are applying for specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor should have MBBS degree and qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Act.
Applications for the advertised posts can be submitted using upsconline.nic.in. Before registration, candidates should keep scanned copies of the photograph, signature, date of birth certificate, experience, educational qualification certificates and mark sheets and others. These documents should be uploaded as per the specifications marked in the notification. Once aspirants have submitted their application, they can take a printout of the same on or before October 16, 2020.
So the candidates who are applying also have to pay the application fee of Rs. 25/-. This fee can fee paid using any branch of SBI by cash. Candidates can also use net banking/ debit card/ credit card/master card facility to pay the fees. There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ women of all category.
