State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) is inviting application from eligible candidates to fill up vacant posts of Sub-Inspector of Statistics, Junior Artist cum Draftsman, Junior Assistant, Primary Investigator/ Computer and Field Assistant. In total 133 vacancies are advertised under SLPRB recruitment 2020. The registrations for this recruitment starts from today, September 25, 2020. All the eligible candidates are advised to submit their applications before October 15, 2020. This recruitment is advertised under the Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Assam. Out of the published 133 vacancies, 35 are advertised for Sub-Inspector of Statistics, 01 for Junior Artist cum Draftsman, 12 for Junior Assistant, 30 for Primary Investigator/ Computer and Field Assistant. The eligible candidates get appointed for these posts under the pay scale of Rs. 14000-49000.
SLPRB has announced the recruitment only for the local candidates of the state of Assam. They should be registered with any Employment Exchange of Assam. Aspirants who wish to apply for Sub-Inspector of Statistics, Junior Assistant must have a graduation degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent. 12th pass candidates are eligible to submit their forms for Junior Artist cum Draftsman, Primary Investigator/ Computer and Field Assistant.
Whilst applying for SLPRB recruitment, the candidate’s age should not be more than 40 years and less than 18 years. The age is eligible candidates is calculated as on January 01, 2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved category candidates of SC, ST (P) and ST (H), OBC/ MOBC, Ex-servicemen, PWD candidates.
Candidates having the required eligibility criteria for the posts may apply for SLPRB recruitment as per the schedule. They shall visit the website slprbassam.in and submit their forms. It is advised to keep scanned copies of photograph, signature, admit card of 12th standard, educational qualification certificates and marks sheets, diploma certificate in computer applications, caste certificate, PwD certificate, ex-servicemen certificate, EWS certificate, employment exchange registration card/ certificate. Moreover, SLPRB does not charge any application fee to submit the application form.
Applicants who are found eligible as per the application form are called for the written examination. SLPRB organizes written examination with Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted with General English, General Knowledge and Mathematics (for Sub-Inspector of Statistics and Junior Assistant) subjects. The syllabus for Paper-II varies post to post. Aspirants can check the same through the notification. Qualifying the Written Exam stage, candidates are invited for the Second phase test which is the Document Verification round.
