The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for NDA/NA examination 2021 for female candidates. Interested candidates can now apply online via upsconline.nic.in. This UPSC NDA 2021 examination is only for unmarried women candidates who meet the eligibility requirements. Candidates have to apply by 6 PM of October 08, 2021, while the examination is going to be held on November 14, 2021.
The primary eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC NDA 2021 is that the candidate has to be unmarried. In terms of age requirement, the candidate must not be born earlier than January 02, 2003, and after January 01, 2006. For the Army wing of the National Defence Academy (NDA), the candidate must be 12th pass under the 10+2 pattern of school examination or equivalent as conducted by the State Education Board or a University.
Similarly, for the Air Force and Naval wings of NDA, candidates must have qualified class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, students who are appearing in class 12 under the 10+2 pattern of school examination or equivalent can also apply. The physical requirements along with the number of vacancies will be notified in due time. No application fee is required to apply.
As mentioned earlier, online applications have to be submitted via upsconline.nic.in. For that, visit the official website and click on the link that reads ‘National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 – Only for Women Candidates’. Now, press the ‘Click Here’ button under the ‘Part-I Registration’ column. Read the instructions and follow the next steps to submit the application.
The registration process for UPSC NDA 2021 is divided into two parts. In the first part of registration, candidates have to fill in the basic information. They can also make corrections (if any) before final submission. After this, the registration number will be generated. Candidates are advised to note down the same and also take a printout of the registration page. In the Part-II registration, candidates have to upload photographs, signatures, photo ID documents, select the examination centre and agree to the declaration.
After the written examination is held, the Commission will prepare the list of candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the examination. Based on this list, they have to appear for the Intelligence and Personality test before the Services Selection Board. This will be a two-stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test. On the first day of reporting, candidates will go through stage one. Candidates who will qualify for this stage are going to be called for the subsequent ones.
