The Union Public Service Commission has officially postponed the NDA 2 2021 exams to November 14, 2021, Through a press note released on the official website upsc.gov.in, the Commission has notified that the NDA 2 2021 exams will now be conducted along with the CDS 2 2021 exam, which is also scheduled to be held on the same date in November. UPSC has notified us that the upcoming session of the NDA 2021 exam will be held at 75 centres now.
UPSC released the NDA 2 2021 notification on June 09, 2021, and the online registration process commenced with the release of the notification on the official website. As per the notification, the written exams of the NDA 2 2021 were scheduled to be held on September 05, 2021, till now. However, as per UPSC’s latest press note, the exams now stand postponed to November 14, 2021, on account of the prevailing conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Registrations for the NDA 2 2021 exam are scheduled to close at 06.00 PM on June 29, 2021. Although no changes have been done to the registration dates, the Commission has notified that registered candidates are given the option to change their centre if necessary. On the other hand, those who will be applying for NDA 2 2021 on or before the last date, will be provided with the option to select an exam centre out of the 75 centres. The updates online application form is available on the Commissions website i.e., upsconline.nic.in as per the latest notice.
The latest postponement press note of the UPSC can be downloaded from the official website. Aspiring candidates are advised to complete their registration and application form fill up process for the NDA 2 2021 on or before the last date by June 29, 2021. It is advised that candidates go through the official advertisement of NDA 2 2021 available on the UPSC website for the complete details of the recruitment.
While the NDA exam is for Class 12 passed candidates, the Combined Defence Service (CDS) exam, a Bachelor’s degree is required. UPSC is all set to release the CDS 2 2021 official notification on August 04, 2021, and online registrations for the exam will commence with the release of the notification. For CDS 2 2021, aspiring candidates will be able to apply online till August 24, 2021.
It has been confirmed through UPSC’s latest timetable that the CDS 2 2021 exam will be held on November 14, 2021. Now that the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA) 2 2021 exams are postponed, they will be held on the same day as the CDS 2 2021 exams. In this context, candidates may note that the Union Public Service Commission has already conducted the first sessions of both the NDA 2021 and CDS 2021 this year. While the NDA 1 2021 results of the written exam are expected to release by the end of this month, the CDS 1 2021 results were declared on March 23, 2021.
