UPSC CMS 2021 examination was conducted yesterday, dated November 21, 2021, across multiple centres in a single shift. Now that the exam is over, the answer key for the UPSC CMS (Combined Medical Service) has been released by top educators. These answer keys are although tentative in nature but can be referred by the candidates to cross-check the answers marked in the exam.
As of now, the UPSC CMS answer key has been released only by an online educator, Dr Harpreet Singh on YouTube. Candidates can check out the answer key for each section asked in the examination. They can also use the same to calculate the marks scored in the written test by applying the marking scheme prescribed by the commission. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark shall be added for each correct answer, and a deduction of 1/3rd marks are applicable for wrong answers. After the final calculation, candidates can find their tentative marks scored in the UPSC CMS 2021 exam.
However, these marks are tentative in nature and the final score of candidates shall be released by the UPSC on the official website. Candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official website for all the latest updates related to the answer key.

As per previous year trends, the result of UPSC CMS 2021 is released at least 20 to 21 days after the exam is conducted. Like, last year the exam was held on October 22, 2021, and the result was released on November 12, 2020. With this, we can speculate that this time the result can be released somewhere between December 04 to 05, 2021. The commission will also release the official answer key for the UPSC CMS 2021 written exam. The dates of the official answer keys and results are not yet disclosed but they are expected to be released soon.
