After three days of examination, the Basic Education Board has released the UPTET Answer key, at upbasiceduboard.gov.in. The UPTET 2018 examination was held on November 18, 2018, in two shifts. And the answer key released today i.e. November 21, 2018.
The exam takers can check their UPTET Answer key by visiting the official website. There was four set in UPTET papers A, B, C, D, And the answer key has been released in pdf for all set, so the candidates have to pick up the answer key for the Set which they have solved in the exam.
While calculating the mark the candidate must keep the marking scheme in mind. In UPTET paper I and II the marking scheme is the same. For each correct response, the candidates will be awarded by the 01 marks, and for a negative response, no marks will be deducted.
UPTET 2018 examination was held in two shifts Paper I for Primary Level teacher held between 10:00 AM to 12:300 PM, and between 03 PM to 05:30 PM the Paper II for Upper Primary level was held. Both of the paper of UPTET was easy to moderate as per the candidate’s views.
Along with releasing the answer key, the Board is also inviting the objection from the candidate to the answer key, The candidates who didn’t find the answers suitable can object the answers. The objection window will be activated from November 21 to 23, 2018, on the Board’s website. The candidates will be charged to put the objection. The objection fee for UPTET is Rs. 1000/-. The objection should have the proper justification. The answer key which has been released are preliminary answer key, after considering the objections, Board will release the final answer key. The candidates will not be allowed to raise the objection to the final answer key.
According to the Board, the result of the UPTET will be released on December 04, 2018, this time Board is preparing to bind up the procedure within 16 days.
After the declaration of the result, the candidates who will qualify the exam will be issued the Teacher Eligibility Certificate. The minimum qualifying marks to pass the TET is 60% for the unserved category, and for reserved category candidates these criteria shrink down by 5%, the candidates of SC / ST Category have to score 55%.
The validity of the Eligibility Certificate is for five years from the day of the exam. The candidates will be issued the certificated from the official website and the District Education and Training department. In case candidates lose his/her certificate then he/she can issue the duplicate copy of the certificate by submitting the demand draft of Rs. 500/-.
