NIOS Result October 2018 Expected to be Released in December; Know Other Facts Here

The exams are over of the National Institute of Open Schooling candidates who had appeared for October session exams. The exams were held from October 06 to November 05 for class 10. For class 12th, the exams were conducted from October 08 and ended on November 05, 2018. So, the candidates are now in search of the result. Last year, the result was announced on December 06, 2017. So, this year, the NIOS Result October 2018 may be announced in the first week of December 2018.

NIOS Result 2018 will be announced online on the official website nios.ac.in. There will be the link available for the result on the homepage. In order to check the result, the candidates will have to submit the correct roll number. The roll number must be the same as present on the admit card. The result will appear in the pdf format.

Candidates will also be able to get the result through the SMS. To check the result of NIOS, the candidates can send the roll number to the specified number.

The students will get the details on the result such as the candidate’s name, roll number, registration number, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, subject name, subject code, marks in the individual subject, overall marks, status of the result etc.

In 2017, the number of students of class 10 who appeared for the exams was 3,50,000. The overall pass percentage for class 10 was 59.21%. The pass percentage for the boys was 58.44% while the girls had 60.91% pass percentage.

The candidates who will qualify the exams will be able to collect the Mark Sheet or the Provisional Certificate or the Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate from the Accredited Institute (AIs) of NIOS.

The organization which works on the national level for the opening schools is the National Institute of Open Schooling. It is well known as NIOS. NIOS came into existence in the year 1989. The Ministry of Human Resources Development established NIOS. The board prescribes the syllabus and curriculum to the affiliated schools. The board conducts the board exams for class 10 and 12 twice a year. The first exams used to be held in the month of April while the students appear for the next session exam in the month of October. So, the candidates who can not attend the regular classes or have a gap in education can get the education through NIOS.
