Reports and speculations are floating around that the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is going to announce the UP Board Class 10 and 12 board exam results today, July 15, 2021, or tomorrow, July 16, 2021. The results are most likely to be announced on the official website upresults.nic.in, results.upmsp.edu.in or upmsp.edu.in. While there is no confirmation from the authorities end, media houses such as NDTV and Times of India are publishing reports about the announcement of UP Class 10 and 12 board results.
As per reports, a total of 56,03,813 candidates had registered for the board exams within the state this year. Of these, 26,09,501 students are from Class 12 while 29,94,312 students are from Class 10. UPMSP shall be evaluating these registered students based on alternate assessment criteria. For instance, Class 10 students shall be assessed on the basis of a 50:50 formula – 50% weightage given to marks obtained in Class 9 whereas the remaining 50% weightage given to Class 10 pre-board marks. Similar criteria shall be used in case of Class 12 students.
Based on trends followed in previous years, UPMSP releases the Class 10 and 12 results on the same day. Hence, reports are suggesting that both Class 10 and 12 students shall be able to check their results either today or tomorrow. Once announced, candidates can check their results using the following steps –
Step 1: Visit one of the official websites upresults.nic.in, results.upmsp.edu.in or upmsp.edu.in.

While authorities are yet to confirm these speculations, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma has provided certain important information about the UP Board exam results 2021. Reportedly, the minister had asked UPMSP to release the mark sheets in July 2021. Results shall be based on the evaluation criteria for Class 10 and 12 announced on June 20, 2021.
The deputy CM also confirmed that the board shall not be releasing any merit list this year for the 2021 board exams. However, students who are not satisfied with their results can appear for the improvement examination. They may choose to appear in the 2022 board exams without paying any registration fee. Dates and official schedule for the same are yet to be announced.
UPMSP is yet to provide any inkling or confirmation to ascertain these reports. Without any confirmation, these reports shall remain mere speculations. To avoid any confusion, students are advised to visit the official websites to stay updated.
