Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the official notification regarding the recruitment of the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) on its official website today. The online application has commenced today and will continue till May 21, 2022. However, the last date for receipt of the examination fee in the bank is May 17, 2022. Candidates can apply for the 44 APO vacancies advertised by logging in to the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in.
How to Apply for APO Examination
Candidates can apply for the vacancies advertised by visiting the official website of UPPSC. To apply for the examination, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, under the Activity Dashboard click on Apply for Advt. NO. A-3/E-1/2022, Assistant Prosecution Officer Examination 2022.
Step 3: On the next window, click on Apply and then on Registration.
Step 4: After the candidate’s affirmation for earlier submission of the application form to UPPSC, the registration page will appear.
Step 5: Enter the details and click on Validate and Preview.
Step 6: Check the details and if everything is correct click on Submit Application.
Step 7: On the next window, click on the option to pay the application fee and remit the fees.
Step 8: After successful payment of fees, candidates can upload the photo and signature and submit the final application.
Take a printout of the application form for further references. Candidates have the option to modify the application form if necessary until the last date of submission. During verification, if it is found that a candidate has provided false information, the candidature will be canceled with immediate effect.

UP APO Recruitment 2022 Application Fee
The candidates applying for UP APO recruitment 2022 are required to pay an application fee along with an online application processing fee of ₹25. The application fee is ₹100 for candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories, ₹40 for candidates belonging to SC, ST and Ex servicemen categories. There is no application fee for PwD category candidates.
UP APO Recruitment 2022 Eligibility
Candidates should have a valid law degree from any recognized university and must be between the age of 21 years and 40 years as of July 1, 2022. There is an age relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates should also note that male candidates having more than one wife and female candidates married to a person who has one or more wife is not allowed to apply unless they have received an exception from the government.
