The dates for the UGC NET 2021 examination have been revised. Earlier, the National Testing Agency or NTA was set to conduct the test from October 6 to 8, 2021 and October 17 to 19, 2021. But, as per a recent notice on the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in , the examinations have now been postponed. The notice came after the agency received requests from the candidates seeking further rescheduling of the dates due to the clash with other exams on October 06 and 07, 2021. The upcoming examination is going to be conducted for both the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles.
As per the revised schedule, the UGC NET 2021 examinations will now be held from October 17, 2021, to October 25, 2021. The detailed date sheet is going to be uploaded soon on the official website. This postponement in holding the UGC NET 2021 examinations was speculated earlier.
According to an NTA executive, the UGC NET 2021 admit card was supposed to be released today. However, in case the admit card is not released today, then there could be chances of the examination getting postponed. In case the UGC NET 2021 examination gets postponed, then an update regarding the same will be posted in 1 to 2 days.
However, the postponement has now been confirmed by NTA as the official notice regarding the same has been put up on the official website. To check the notice, simply visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in and head straight to the ‘News and Events’ section. Click on the notice dated October 01, 2021, regarding rescheduling of the examination dates for UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. After that, the notice will be displayed. If required, take a printout of the same.
It is advisable to keep an eye on the official website to receive all the latest updates and information. The admit cards for the revised dates of the UGC NET 2021 examination will be available on the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in. But, once the admit cards are released, candidates can download the same from the website by using their application number, date of birth, etc. After downloading the UGC NET 2021 admit card, it is advised to take a printout of the same. Nevertheless, no admit card will be sent to the candidate via post.
