National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) in the second and third week of September 2021. Entrance exam for UG programs was conducted on September 7, 8 and 13, 2021. Thereafter, for PG programs, the agricultural entrance exam was held on September 17, 2021. Results for both exams are going to be announce soon, on the official website icar.nta.ac.in. Before the announcement of results, here are some important points for students to note about the ICAR 2021 results.
NTA ICAR UG 2021 Results
Process of Error & Score-Related Exception Handling
In general, the ICAR AIEEA UG 2021 exam contains multiple-choice questions with only one option as the correct answer. In case two or three options are found to be correct during key verification or post challenge, candidates who have marked one of these options will be awarded marks.
In case all four options are found to be correct, all candidates will be awarded full marks. Conversely, if all four options or the question is found to be incorrect, full marks will again, be awarded to all candidates. Here, the question will be dropped or considered invalid.
Percentile Score & Normalisation Process
The ICAR UG 2021 examination was held on multiple days and hence, to normalise the scores, each candidate’s raw marks will be converted to NTA Scores. These NTA scores for all shifts will be merged together to create a final merit list and allocation of ranks. In case the percentile for multiple shifts is different, the lowest figure will be considered as the eligibility cut-off of that category.
After the announcement of results, authorities will not be entertaining any revaluation or rechecking requests.
NTA ICAR PG 2021 Results
Process of Error & Score-Related Exception Handling
Similar to UG exam, the ICAR AIEEA PG 2021 paper also contains multiple-choice questions with only one option as the correct answer. In case two or three options are found to be correct during key verification or post challenge, candidates who have marked one of these options will be awarded marks.
In case all four options are found to be correct, all candidates will be awarded full marks. On the other hand, if all four options or the question is found to be incorrect, full marks will again, be awarded to all candidates. Here, the question will be dropped or considered invalid.
Percentile Score & Normalisation Process
The ICAR PG 2021 examination was held on a single day in multiple shifts and hence, to normalise the scores, each candidate’s raw marks will be converted to NTA Scores. These NTA scores for all shifts will be merged together to create a final merit list and allocation of ranks. In case the percentile for multiple shifts is different, the lowest figure will be considered as the eligibility cut-off of that category.
Here again, after the announcement of results, authorities will not be entertaining any revaluation or rechecking requests.
