Today, November 11, 2021, is the last date to register for the Undergraduate Combined Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2022 examination, without a late fee. Interested and eligible candidates have only today’s time to fill and submit their online application on the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in. If they complete their registration formalities by today, they would not have to bear the late fee charges. But with late fee charges, UCEED 2022 registration is open till November 16, 2021. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay is unlikely to provide any further extension in the registration deadline.
UCEED 2022 registration began on uceed.iitb.ac.in on September 09, 2021. Initially, the last date to complete the registration formalities was October 10, 2021, up to 11:55 pm. With additional fee charges, the deadline to apply was October 17, 2021, up to 11:55 pm. However, intending to allow more students to apply for this entrance exam, it was decided to extend the registration deadline. Hence, with the regular fee, the last date to register was extended by more than a month to November 11, 2021. The same was done with the deadline applicable by bearing late fee charges.
Candidates applying for UCEED 2022 during the extended period i.e., from November 12-16, 2021, must bear late fee charges of Rs.500. In the case of foreign nationals, the late fee charge is USD 50. Candidates must note that these charges are in addition to the UCEED 2022 application fee. Moreover, this fee is non-refundable. Hence, it is advisable to fill and submit the application form today itself to avoid these charges.
According to the current schedule, UCEED 2022 is all set to be conducted on January 23, 2022. It will be held for 3 hours – from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The entrance exam will be held in two parts – Part A conducted through computer-based mode, and Part B to be held through the pen-and-paper mode. While the former is aimed at testing a candidate’s design aptitude, the latter shall test a candidate’s design and sketching abilities.
Successfully registered candidates can download their UCEED 2022 admit cards from the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in from January 08, 2022. As soon as they access their admit card, candidates must check the document thoroughly for any mistakes or discrepancies. In case they are found, candidates must communicate the same to IIT Bombay, without delay. The last date to report these errors is January 14, 2022, beyond which no rectification requests will be entertained.
