The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad has announced the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) date. The exam will be conducted on June 30, 2022. The application form for the examination will be available on the official website from the second week of April. The results of POLYCET will be released 12 days after the completion of the examination. POLYCET is conducted to provide admissions to candidates in engineering and non-engineering diploma courses in various institutions.

TS POLYCET Application Form
The online application form for POLYCET examination will be available on the official website sbtet.telangana.gov.in from next week. Candidates can register for the exam till June 04 without late fee, and June 05 with a late fee of INR 100.
Candidates belonging to the General category should pay INR 450 and those from SC/ST should pay INR 250 as an application fee. Interested candidates should have passed Class 10 from any recognised board with Mathematics as a subject and a minimum of 35% in aggregate for all subjects combined. The eligibility for engineering and non-engineering diploma courses vary considerably.
Therefore, students should refer to the information brochure released by SBTET and check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The application forms which are incomplete and found to be furnishing false information will be rejected.
TS POLYCET Exam Date and Pattern
The examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 30, 2022, for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exact time shift of the examination will be announced later. There will be 150 MCQs with 60 questions from Mathematics and 30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates seeking admission to agriculture diplomas should attend Biology questions whereas others should attend 60 questions from Mathematics. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The minimum qualifying marks for the examination is 30%. After the result publication, there will be a web counseling enabling the students to choose the courses of their preference. Rank cards will be provided within a week after the declaration of results.
