The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana (SBTET) has invited applications from candidates who wish to apply for the TS POLYCET 2021. The board has released the complete timetable for the different events corresponding to the exam on the official website i.e. sbtet.telangana.gov.in. According to which, the application process will commence on May 24, 2021. The last date to submit the POLYCET application fee without a late fine is June 11, 2021. While the last date to apply with the late fee of Rs 100 is June 13, 2021 and the same with a late fee of Rs 300 is June 15, 2021. The date of the written test is not mentioned however the result of the test will be released after 10 days of the commencement of the exam.

The TS POLYCET 2021 is only for the candidates who have passed SSC or have passed any other equivalent examination from a board recognised by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad. The candidates who successfully clear the exam will be allowed to take up any Engineering or Non-Engineering course within any Government or Non-Government Polytechnic college.
The candidates who wish to apply for the POLYCET 2021 have to initially visit the official website of SBTET. Post this, they are required to find out the link to the POLYCET portal. Upon clicking the link, the candidates are redirected to the official homepage of the POLYCET portal wherein they have to click on the File Application option. The candidates have to start the application form by entering important details i.e. Tenth exam board name, Candidate’s adhaar card number, 10th Exam hall ticket number, Date of birth, Passing year or appearing year of Class 10th, MeeSeva Application Number, MeeSeva EWS number, and MeeSeva Caste certificate number.
On the next page, the candidates have to upload their scanned photo and signature with a size limit of less than 50 kb. In the end, the candidates are asked to pay the online application fee of Rs 400 via any online payment gateway i.e. Debit/Credit Card or Netbanking etc.
As per the previous year brochure released by SBTET for the TS POLYCET 2021, the exam will be held in an offline manner for 150 minutes. The main subjects asked in the POLYCET exam will be Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for the candidates opting for Diploma in Engineering. While questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be asked for candidates who opt for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries Diploma courses. There will be a total of 150 questions in the exam overall in which 60 questions will be from Mathematics paper and 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no provision of negative marking.
