TPSC Recruiting for 22 Sub-Inspector of Police (UB); Online Registrations Begins From Sept 10, Details Here!

TPSC is hiring male graduate candidates for the vacant posts of Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch) under Government of Assam.

Tripura Public Service Commission has released an official notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates as Sub-Inspector of Police (Unarmed Branch). As per the notification, TPSC has announced a total of 22 vacancies for SI (UB). The posts are available only for male candidates. Online applications Portal for TPSC recruitment will be available from September 10, 2020. The last date for the submission of online application is October 05, 2020. Candidates can download Advt. No. 05/2020 from tpsc.gov.in.

Out of the total 22 vacancies, TPSC has reserved 04 vacancies for SC, 07 vacancies for ST, and 11 are for Unreserved category. Candidates who are appointed under this recruitment have to work under the Home Department, Government of Tripura. They get a monthly salary of Rs 34,700/-.

Applications from only graduates of any discipline are invited. They must have attained the minimum age limit of 21 years and should not be more than that of 28 years as on January 01, 2020. The maximum age limit for TPSC recruitment is relaxable by 05 tears for SC/ST candidates. Knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok language is desirable.

Other than the educational qualification, candidates also have to ensure that they fulfil the physical measurements. Eligible candidates must be 168.0 cms tall. Their chest size should be of 79.00 cms and 84.00 cms when expanded. The body weight is determined by the Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 and 29.5. Moreover, the height and chest size is relaxable for the reserved category candidates. We suggest them to go through the official notification once to get more details.

Candidates have to submit the application through the TPSC online application portal. Before applying for the SI (UB) post, applicants shall register themselves through One time Registration portal via tpsc.gov.in. On successful registration, applicants receive a User ID. Use this credentials to log in and submit the TPSC application form. Also, an application fee of Rs. 150/- should be paid by General category candidates and Rs. 100/- by Tripura ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

The selection procedure for TPSC SI (UB) recruitment includes physical efficiency test, written examination and personality test. The first stage of the selection procedure of PET round. In this stage candidates have to perform certain activities such as running, long jump, shot put, high jump. Candidates who are able to secure one star standard are declared qualified and have to appear for the written examination. TPSC conducts the written examination for 200 marks. It includes two papers – Paper I and Paper 2 – which are conducted for 03 hours each. Qualifying candidates are then called for interview round conducted for 20 marks. The date for PET round, written examination and interview will be out in the due course of time.
