Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in its recent notification has advertised 610 vacancies for the post of Vetting Officer, Veterinary Medical Officer, Mines Officer, Assistant Professor, Principal (Allopathy), Medical Officer (Allopath), Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Planner and Engineer. The recruitment is advertised through the Advt.No- 1/2020-21 at the official website uppsc.up.nic.in. Online registrations have already started from September 05, 2020, onwards. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications before October 05, 2020.
Out of the total announced vacancies, 01 vacancies are advertised for Vetting Officer, 215 for Veterinary Medical Officer, 03 for Mines Officer, 29 Backlog vacancies for Assistant Professor in Medical Educational department (Allopathy), 01 for Principal (Allopathy), 01 for Medical Officer (Allopath) – S-9/01, 256 for Medical Officer (Allopath) – S- 9/02, 01 for Joint Director, 01 for Deputy Officer, 08 for Assistant Planner, 04 for Engineer and 88 vacancies for Assistant Professor in Medical Educational Department (Allopathy).
Candidates intending to apply for Vetting Officer must possess Bachelors degree in Arts, Commerce, Science or Law. Those who have B.V.Sc. & A.H is eligible to apply for Veterinary Medical Officer post. To apply for Mines Officer, a graduation degree in Mining Engineering is required. Applicants with MD/ MS/ DM/ M.Ch, PhD are eligible to apply for Assistant Professor posts. An MBBS degree is required for Medical Officer post. Candidates who possess CA/ CS can apply for Joint Director and Deputy Director. A diploma in Civil Engineering is required for Engineer vacant post. Those who have Degree or PG Diploma in concerned subject can apply for Assistant Planner. MD/ MS or equivalent is required for Principal Allopathy post.
Besides, applicants also have to ensure that they meet the specified age limit for UPPSC Recruitment. The minimum age limit for Principle post is 50 years and the maximum age limit is 62 years. For the post of Assistant Professor, candidate’s age should be between 26 years to 40 years and for Joint Director, between 21 years to 45 years. For all other posts, candidates applying must have attained the minimum age limit for 21 years and should not be more than 40 years.
Before applicants start registering their candidature for UPPSC, they must be ready with a scanned copy of Photograph, Signature and other relevant documents. The application for the said posts can be submitted in three major steps – candidate registration, fee payment and form submission. Visit the official website of UPPSC, uppsc.up.nic.in. While submitting the online applications form, candidates also have to pay an application fee through the online process. Unreserved/ EWS/ OBC have to make a payment of Rs. 105/-, SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen have to pay Rs. 65/- and Physically Handicap candidates have to pay Rs. 25/-. The fee can be paid via Net Banking/ Card payment/ Other Payment Modes.
