TNFUSRC Forest Watcher Hall Ticket 2019

Government job aspirants in Tamil Nadu are looking forward to getting the TNFUSRC Forest Watcher hall ticket 2019. As per the revised schedule, exam for the Forest Watcher recruitment 2019 is scheduled to be held on three dates – October 4, 2019, October 5, 2019, and October 6, 2019. There will be two sessions on each day. Through admit card or the hall ticket, candidates wish to not only come to know their exam centre, but also their exam date and shift.

Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC) will release the hall ticket at forests.tn.gov.in. Going by the usual method of the committee’s release of admit cards, it is expected that there will be two separate events next.

Last year TNFUSRC had conducted the recruitment for Forest Guard, and Forester. For these exams, the committee had first released admit card 6-8 days before the first exam date. However in the admit card, they only provided name of city where they have to go for exam. After that candidates were separately sent email and SMS to inform their exam centres, exactly 3 days before their exams.

If TNFUSRC follows the same process as last time, then Forest Watcher hall ticket 2019 will release around September 26 or September 28. And after that, again if the same process applies, then exam centre will be sent separately from October 1 onwards.

However the final decision on when, where, and how to release hall tickets lies in the hands of the Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee. With less than three weeks to go for the exam, the committee is looked forward to publish admit card download dates and process shortly.

Once available, candidates will be able to download the same with their registration number and password.

Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC) had announced the revised computer based test (CBT) dates for the post of Forest Watcher last month. In its notice the committe says that 1,67,000 candidates have applied for the exam. Due to the large number of applicants, the exam has been rescheduled. Initially, the exam was only going to be held on two dates – October 5, 2019, and October 6, 2019. The examinations will be held in all the districts of Tamil Nadu. TNFUSRC reserves the right to modify the number of examination Centers and to re-allot the candidates.

The committee has also provided a facility for online mock test or practice test for the post of Forest Watcher in August. The same will be available until the date of exam. Candidates can get familiar with the CBT test if they practice these mock test on a daily basis. To start the mock test, candidates have to enter their username and password.

On the performance of the online examination, the qualifying candidates will be called for appearing in the certificate verification, physical standards verification and endurance test in the ratio of 1:3 for final selection.

The 30% reservation of vacancies is reserved for women candidates, out of which 10 % is reserved for destitute widows. If no qualified and suitable women candidates are available for selection against the vacancies reserved for them, those vacancies will be filled by other eligible candidates belonging to the respective communal categories. And the rest 5 % is reserved for Ex-servicemen and 20 % for Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) and 10 % is reserved for the sportsperson.

A total of 564 vacancies will be filled up through the forest watcher recruitment, out of which 465 will be filled up in forest watcher, and 99 in forest watcher (earmarked to ST youths from specified districts only). Candidates on selection for the post will be paid in a pay scale level 3, i.e, Rs 16,600 to Rs.52,400.
