Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has announced Higher Secondary exam results 2020 on July 31 online at tripuraresults.nic.in. TBSE chief Bhabatosh Saha informed that the examination evaluation process for class 12th exam started from April 24 and concluded on May 22. However, the evaluation process was put on hold due to COVID-19 pandemic and all examiners had to follow protective guidelines during the evaluation process.
This year, a total of 26,400 students appeared for the TBSE HS examination. The overall pass percentage is 80.80%, it has been slightly increased in comparison to the previous year. The pass percentage of the Commerce stream is 78.56% and the pass percentage of the Arts stream is 79.52%. The pass percentage of the Science stream is 89.85%.
A total of 17 students from the Science stream bagged the top 10 position. Ruchika Sarkar from Arya Colony HS school emerged as the topper. She has secured a total of 473 marks in TBSE Hs examination 2020. The second position is bagged by Deepjoy Rudra Sarma from Umakanta Academy in Agartala. He has secured a total of 472 marks. Angkita Baidya has bagged the third position with a total of 469 marks.
From the Arts stream, a total of 11 students are in top 10 positions. Bipasha Chakraborty has bagged the first rank with 482 marks. Raj Bir Datta has secured the second rank with a total of 471 marks. Payal Debnath has secured the third rank. She secured a total of 467 marks in TBSE HS examination 2020.
A total of 11 students bagged the top 10 positions from the Commerce stream as well in TBSE HS examination 2020. Swarupa Banik from Prachya Bharati HS School bagged the first position in the commerce stream. She has secured a total of 455 marks. Ankita Paul from Kamini Kumar Singha Memorial HS school in Agartala has bagged the second position with 446 marks. The third position is bagged by Sabita Paul. She secured a total of 440 marks.
The pass percentage of the TBSE HS result 2020 Madrassa Fazil (Arts) exam is 63.64% while the pass percentage of Madrassa Fazil (Theology) is 76.47%.
Announcing the results at the board headquarters in Gorkhabasti, TBSE president Dr Bhabatosh Saha said the class 12th exams which started on March 2 was scheduled to end on March 31 but the examinations of nine subjects including economics, geography, psychology, Sanskrit among others – were postponed to be held from June 5-11 but were then later suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among the eight districts, Sepahijala has the highest pass rate with 84.27 per cent, however, Dhalai district was found to have the lowest pass rate with 73.84 percent.

After clicking on the link of the result, enter the registration number and roll number. After entering the details, click on the ‘Show Result’ button in order to view the result. Lastly, download the result and take its printout.
