Anna University, Chennai has extended the application deadline for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) to April 21, from April 18, 2022. Candidates who wish to register for TANCET can apply on the official website of TANCET tancet.annauniv.edu before 4 pm on April 21. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 14 and 15.TANCET is a state-level entrance test to offer admission to eligible candidates in MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan.
How to Apply for TANCET 2022
Candidates can apply for TANCET till April 21 on the official website of TANCET. To submit the application, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of TANCET tancet.annauniv.edu.
Step 2: Click on the link that reads, For Online Registration: Click Here.
Step 3: Candidates should click on the Register button and enter the details asked in the space provided including a valid email and password.
Step 4: Now go back to the login page and enter the email and password registered in the previous step.
Step 5: Enter all the details required and click submit to get redirected to the payment screen.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and the application is complete. Keep a printout of the application for any future references.

Candidates should note that the image and signature should meet the requirements mentioned in the registration guide. Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made and incorrect applications will be rejected during verification. The size of the image and signature are mentioned below:
Photo- Height -300px and Width – 200px [File size should be 50 KB in jpg format]
Signature- Height -70px and Width – 200px [File size should be 11 KB in jpg format]
Candidates belonging to the general category should pay a fee of INR 800 for appearing in one exam. Those from SC/ST communities should pay INR 400 as application fees. SC/ST candidates should upload a community certificate during the application process to get a fee concession.
TANCET 2022 Exam Date
The examination will be held on May 14 and 15 in different shifts. TANCET 2022 for MCA (10 am to 12 pm) and MBA (2.30 pm to 4.30 pm) will be conducted on May 14 and the exam for M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., and M.Plan (10 am to 12 pm) will be conducted on May 15. The admit card for the examination will tentatively be released on May 02, 2022, on the official website.
