In a press conference, Mr. Duraimurugan announced a beneficial statement indicating priority to the buyers who successfully conclude their booking on January 08, 2022, between 8 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. respectively. Buyers who successfully book sand in the allotted time slot will be given priority while distributing it.The leftover stock would be offered to the registered lorry owners between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m respectively.

Tamil Nadu government assured their buyers that the online system will not only meet the buyers’ requirement for sand but also ensured that the sand will be made available hassle-free at low prices to its priority buyers. Check out the steps mentioned below to book sand online:
Step 1: Head over to the official website of Tamil Nadu Sand at tnsand.in
Step 2: Locate the General People “பொது மக்கள்” option present on the top right corner of the homepage. Click on it
Step 3: Applicants will get redirected to an application form on the next page. All new applicants need to fill in all the essential details asked in the application form.
Step 4: After filling the form, click the “Create Booking” button present at the bottom line of the application form.
Step 5: Booking will be completed after clicking the “Create Booking” button. A booking reference number will be provided to each applicant to track their booked sand status.
Simplified guidelines provided by the Tamil Nadu Government:
Simplified guidelines are mandatory to be followed by every individual in order to participate in the sale of riversand. While trucks would be permitted to ship riversand from almost 16 quarries across the State, 21 quarries would be opened solely for bullock carts subsequently after obtaining necessary environmental clearance.
