Sardar Vallabhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology (SVPUAT) issued a public notice on Thursday, April 15, 2021, regarding the Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) 2021. According to the notification, published at upcatetadmissions.org, the deadline to submit the application form has been changed from April 15, 2021, to April 30, 2021. Authorities have also extended the deadline to May 01, 2021, for paying the application fee. The public notice also stated that the UPCATET 2021 examination is scheduled for June 16 and 17, 2021. However, these exam dates may be subjected to changes in the future depending on the COVID-19 situation.
The second wave of coronavirus is leading to a substantial increase in the number of COVID-19 patients in various cities of Uttar Pradesh. Due to the prevailing conditions, candidates had to face many hurdles for filling the UPCATET 2021 application form. Acknowledging this, SVPUAT authorities issued a public notice yesterday, April 15, 2021.
According to the official notice, the last date to fill and submit the online application form has been extended from April 15, 2021, to April 30, 2021. Moreover, the deadline to pay the application fee has been extended from April 16, 2021, to May 01, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Previously, the correction facility was to be made available to candidates from April 17 to 20, 2021. However, this facility shall now be made available from May 03 to 05, 2021 up to 5:00 pm.
As per the existing examination schedule, UPCATET 2021 is scheduled on June 16 and 17, 2021. However, the university may decide to change the examination dates if the COVID-19 situation prevails. Candidates shall be notified about the changed schedule through the official website upcatetadmissions.org and svbpuat.ac.in.
Authorities have displayed the UPCATET 2021 updated schedule on the official website upcateadmisssions.org. According to the updated schedule, admit cards for the state-level entrance exam are scheduled to release on June 01, 2021. After the conduction of exams, SVPUAT shall declare the results on June 30, 2021.
Interested and eligible candidates can still apply for the UPCATET 2021 examination on the official website. To do so, they require a valid email ID, mobile number, scanned copy of photograph, signature and other required documents. To register for the exam, candidates have to click on the “NEW REGISTRATION” option. Thereafter, they must fill the required details like candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number. They must select the exam, group of paper and the previous exam as well. Lastly, they must choose an appropriate password and enter the captcha before clicking on the “Register” option.
Successfully registered candidates must then fill the online application form, upload the required documents such as photograph and signature and, pay the application fee. Candidates must upload the required documents as per the format and dimensions specified by the SVPUAT. After completing all the application formalities, candidates must take a printout of the conformation page for future use.
