Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) is the public university in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Of late, students of the varsity are engrossed in looking for the SV University degree time table and hall tickets for upcoming year 2019 examinations.

The official website of SVU is svuniversity.edu.in, where, exam dates notification as well as other exam related updates are published in the notifications page, or exams page. In both the places, as well as elsewhere on the website, Nov-Dec 2019 exam details are not available.

Recently, a few candidates shared a time table for PG exams on social media. As per it, the exams for MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MFM, MEd, MLIsc 1st and 3rd semester will be held from November 20 to December 2, 2019. However the notice is not available on website.

On the FAQs page of svuniversity.edu.in, question number 13 says “Where can I get my Hall-ticket?”. To which, the answer provided is “Please contact “controller of exams cell: 0877-2289499/398”.

Earlier this year SVU had conducted the UG V and VI semester instant examinations 2019, for which, the university had asked college authorities to collect hall tickets from the university and students were asked to take them from their respective colleges.

Students are considered eligible to obtain the hall ticket only if they have submitted the exam form and fees on or before the last date. Such students, after collecting the hall ticket, have to follow instructions issued by the college and university regarding exam.

The details such as reg no., course, semester, token, aadhar number, email id, mobile number, surname/initial, student name, father name, mother name, caste or community, sub-caste/sex, physically challenged are mentioned on the hall ticket. The box with * mark are mandatory and all details must be correct. Students have to provide the signature on the hall ticket.

Students who are waiting for degree exam time table and hall ticket can as of now contact their colleges, and controller of exams. It will be necessary to obtain the admit card and carry the same on the day of the exam. Also, it is usually required to carry a valid identity card on the day of the exam. Students must report to the exam hall as per timings mentioned in the admit card, or as instructed by the college or university. Avoid any kind of malpractice during the exam else the student shall be booked under UFM. The result of such students shall be withheld.

As per the information shared by students on social media, PG sem 1 and sem 3 exams will be held on different dates. In each semester, there will be six papers identified as paper I, II, III, IV, V, VI. For sem 1, the exam dates for these papers are November 21, 23, 26, 28, 30, 2019, and December 3, 2019 respectively. Whereas for sem 3 the dates are November 20, 22, 25, 27, 29, 2019 and December 2, 2019. However students must verify the exam dates from college and or university, as social media data may not be reliable.

After conducting the semester exam successfully, the university releases the result online at the official website. To check the result students have to provide the hall ticket number. The result published online is just to provide immediate information to the students and must not be considered as the final result. The mark sheet issued by the university shall be the final result.

Students securing minimum or more than the passing marks are considered to pass the exam. The qualifying students shall be promoted to the next higher semester. In case, students are not satisfied with the marks secured can apply for the revaluation of the answer book. The marks obtained after the revaluation shall be the final marks.
