The Staff Selection Commission has officially announced the revised dates of various pending exams that were earlier scheduled to be conducted in 2020, but postponed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The Commission has published an official public notice & revised time table of the exams through the official website ssc.nic.in. Concerned candidates and aspirants of such exams who were awaiting the Commission to release the revised dates can now go to the website and download the notice available in a downloadable pdf format. It was early in March 2020 that SSC postponed the then ongoing Combined Graduate Level 2019 exam due to the pandemic situation. The Commission has now issued revised dates to conduct the exam for the remaining candidates as well as other deferred exams of 2020. Besides the CHSL 2019 exam, the SSC has also announced the revised schedule of many other upcoming exams. These include the Junior Engineer recruitment exam 2019, Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) 2019 exam, examination for Selection Posts (Phase VIII), 2019, Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ 2019 exam, Examination for the recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator & Hindi Pradhyapak, 2020, Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police & CAPF (Paper-I) examination, 2020 and Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police Examination 2020. The revised exam dates of all these aforementioned exams are announced through the official press release.
SSC was already in the midst of conducting the Tier-I of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL), 2019 exam in March 2020 when it decided to postpone the exam due to the pandemic. However, as per the new revised time table of events, the exam for the remaining candidates is now scheduled to be held from October 12 to 16, October 19 to 21 and on October 26, 2020.
The Paper-I exam for the recruitment of Junior Engineer in the disciplines of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying & Contracts, 2019 is also scheduled to be held in October 2020. As per the time table, the exam is scheduled to be held from October 27 to 30, 2020. The other examinations are rescheduled to be held in the months of November & December 2020.
SSC is going to conduct the Tier-II CGL 2019 exam from November 02 to November 05, 2020. The Examination for Selection Posts (Phase-VIII), 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on November 06, 09, and 10, 2020. The examination for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’, 2019 recruitment is scheduled to be conducted from November 16 to 18, 2020. Paper-I of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator & Hindi Pradhyapak exam, 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on November 19, 2020.
SSC is also going to conduct the Paper-I exam for Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police & CAPF recruitment 2020 from November 23 to 26, 2020. The examination for Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police, 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on November 27 & 30, December 01 to 03, December 07 to 11 and December 14, 2020.
