Placements have started at SRM IST. Day 1 witnessed a massive success with astounding figures. Companies visiting SRM IST made over 3000 job offers on first day itself.
The varsity has confirmed 23 super dream offers (offering CTC of over 10 lakh). Microsoft has hired a student with a 38.5 lakh package. Amazon too has extended their offer for placement to 16 students, as Software Development Engineers.
UDAAN.com has hired 3 students from SRM. The Bengaluru based startup has offered a package of 18.5 lakhs.
Likewise Nutanix, also based in Bengaluru, has offered 18.1 lakhs pa to 2 students hired as System Reliability Engineers. 1 M.Tech student has been picked by SAP Labs with an offer of 17 lakhs.

Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Wipro have made over 3000 offers at SRM IST. INFOSYS has hired 64 students under the category of Dream Offers (offer of 5 to 10 lakh), and TCS Digital hired 62 students under the same category.
INFOSYS has hired 1185 students on first day of placement 2019 at SRM IST, which is the higher number of offers in India by any institution so far.
First day of the placement season saw massive flutter with participation by a plethora of companies. For the first time, 15 Taiwanese companies also participated in the job fair that was facilitated by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council).
SRM IST anticipates the placement season to continue for months given the number of students looking for their dream jobs. The placement session may go on until May 2019.
Come placement season, SRM IST plays host to some of the top Indian and multinational companies. Last placement season saw nearly 540 companies opening their doors to thousands of SRM IST students.
