Vel Tech University has already commenced with its application procedure for VTUEEE 2019 from September 13, 2018. Interested candidates can start applying over its official website for Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination-2019, after going through the eligibility criteria. Also, the information brochure for the academic session commencing from 2019, has been released over www.veltech.edu.in.
Candidates need to start VTUEEE 2019 application process by getting themselves registered online, by filling some details like his or her name, contact number, personal email ID, selecting B.Tech discipline he or she wants to pursue and select the state or union territory from the drop-down options available. If a candidate has already gotten themselves registered, he or she can fill the application number and password to log in.
As the University invites applications in offline mode as well, a candidate can send a demand draft of Rs 950/- drawn in the favor of the Vel Tech University or can visit the Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai and hand over the demand draft in person, along with Rs.950/- in cash or can purchase the offline VTUEEE 2019 application form from the regional office of the University.
Vel Tech University has released some important dates relating to VTUEEE 2019 PHASE-I examination. Candidates appearing for CBT can make a note that the VTUEEE 2019 will be conducted on December 29 & 30, 2018 for them, whereas candidates interested to appear for Pen and Paper Based Test needs to appear on January 26 & 27, 2018. As one of the key features of this university level entrance exam is that it is conducted in two phases, so the Phase 2 exam dates have also been announced, as shown below in the picture.
Prior to applying, interested candidates are requested by the University to read thoroughly the information brochure which has also been released in the pdf file format over VTUEEE 2019 application portal. Candidature will be canceled if a candidate is not fulfilling any of the eligibility norms as laid by the University. The University has specially added a section, called “Instructions To Completing And Sending The Application Form” in the information brochure to ease out the work of the applicants.
VTUEEE 2019 question paper is said to be similar to JEE Main, covering questions from majorly three sections Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A candidate will be needing to attempt 90 questions of total 360 marks in 3-hour duration. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded whereas a negative marking scheme of 1/4 marks will be applicable for every incorrect answer.
