Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) had an immensely successful Placement season. As per the placement report 2018-19 of SRCC, the placements this year witnessed a whooping acceleration. This placement season was wrapped up with 40% more offers rolling in as compared to the last year.
This year new records were achieved at SRCC. 120+ offers equalling to the sum Rs. 8 crores were offered to the SRCC students participating in the placements. Over 20+ recruiters had offered opportunities to the candidates.

- Highest package offering company: EY-Parthenon
In this placement season, the highest package that was offered was by the consulting giant, EY-Parthenon. They had made a massive offer of Rs. 31 lakh to two SRCC students. Other recruiters that showed their interest in offering good opportunities to the students were The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Co., A.T. Kearney, and L.E.K. Consulting.
Offers were also made for the finance profile by reputed companies like Axxela Advisory Services, Client
Associates, and Times Internet. Few recruiters that are regular at SRCC placements are Deloitte, KPMG, EY and PwC also picked up talents for their firms from SRCC this year too.
Many companies also handpicked interns for their institutes like the Deutsche Bank, Nomura, Standard, Chartered Bank. Offers were made from sectors like consulting, audit, taxation, actuarial. These sectors have hired for positions like associate, deal advisory, risk consulting etc.
There were many pre placements offers made too by companies such as JSW, EY, Deutsche Bank etc.

What was the highlighting point of SRCC placements this year was that SRCC’s Placement Cell was the first college in Delhi University to launch a placement portal that was one of its kind. What is this portal? This portal is made aiming at streamlining all the communications with both companies and students through a digital portal.
The placement cell has also made a series of videos named “Crack it with SRites” that provided a
platform through which students who have already graduated from SRCC, share their own insights on how to prepare for interviews and competitive exams.
Apart from that, the Placement Cell of SRCC has been quiet active. It has been also working at keeping the students updated with the global and business news by issuing a newsletter called ‘In a nutshell’.
To prepare the candidates for the placements, the placement cell of SRCC has worked upon an extensive prospectus named ‘Placements Decoded’. It contained interview questions, guesstimates and case studies with the best possible solutions.
Expectations: This was just the first placement season. Now SRCC is expecting over 50 more companies to keep the great record going.
