Sports Authority of India is inviting the online applications for the vacant posts of Anthropometrist. Aspirants interested in the recruitment can download the notification with F. NO. 1(10)/SAI/SS-ANTHRO/2020-21 from the official website, sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in. As per the notification, the recruitment for Anthropometrist is announced for the 25 vacant posts. Candidates can submit their applications for the said posts on or before the last date November 15, 2020 at 05:00 PM.
The post of Anthropometrist is available only on a contractual basis. Aspirants who get selected for the aforementioned post are posted at the head office at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003. Those who are appointed as Anthropometrist Grade-I get the monthly salary of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- and Anthropometrist Grade-II gets Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 80,000/-.
Before candidates start applying for the Anthropometrist post, we suggest them reading the eligibility criteria once. Only those candidates who possess a Master’s degree in Physical Anthropology or Human Biology from recognized university or institute or Foreign university can apply for Anthropometrist post. This email ID should remain valid until the recruitment process for Anthropometrist is concluded. All these documents (except for photo and signature) should be self-attested.
Sports Authority of India conducts the interview round to shortlist candidates for Anthropometrist post. Aspirants who are found eligible and secure good marks in the scrutiny of qualification are called for the interview. The Anthropometrist interview will be of 100 marks. Thereafter, the conducting body prepares a merit list based on which candidates are called for document verification.
