Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) has successfully conducted the UPSC Civil Service Training Entrance Test on August 13, 2021. Though, YouTube channels have released unofficial answers key and paper analysis on their respective channels. The official answer key is expected to be published on its website spipa.gujarat.gov.in soon.
Following the COVID-19 protocols, SPIPA UPSC Civil Service Exam (CSE) was held on August 13, 2021, for a total of 24 central services of Group A & B. The entrance test was organized at designated centres in Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Mehsana. The test was held in two sittings. Paper-1 (General Studies) was scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and paper-2 (CSAT) from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Based on the opinions of the students, the overall level of the entrance test is Easy to Moderate. However, the opinions of some of the students are different.
As far as the SPIPA UPSC 2021 paper analysis is concerned, up to 100 MCQs will be asked in paper 1. The questions in this section are based on the syllabus of the General Studies. Each question carries 2 marks, so the maximum mark is 200 and test time is 2 hours.
In paper 2, 50 questions will be asked from candidates in a duration of 1.5 hours. The questions are based on the syllabus defined for the Aptitude Test where each correct response carries 2 marks.

It should be noted that the official answer key will be displayed on the official website spipa.gujarat.gov.in. Once the official answer key is released, the candidates will be eligible to compare their responses to the correct answers in the key. In case, an answer is found incorrect in the answer key, candidates will stand a chance to raise a challenge against it. Then, a panel of experts will evaluate the answers and release the final answer key.
SPIPA stage 1 result will be declared on the basis of the final answer key. The institute will declare the result on the official website in due course of time. Along with the students’ scorecards, a list of candidates who qualify in papers 1 and 2 will also be published.
SPIPA entrance exam 2021 was conducted to shortlist candidates for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2021-22 training. Only candidates on the merit list will be called for the 2nd stage test. The 2nd stage exam will be the essay type. The final merit will be prepared on a total of 400 marks (stage 1 and stage 2). Admissions will be done as per state reservation policy and training classes shall likely start from October 2021.
