Indian Railway is providing huge employment opportunity to Medical & Paramedical professionals. 42 vacancies for various medical and paramedical posts have been advertised by South Central Railway at scr.indianrailways.gov.in. Through Notice No, 03/2020/Medical, the contractual vacancies have been advertised for posts such as Specialist Doctor, Nursing Sisters, Pharmacist and others. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to apply for the recruitment in the prescribed proforma. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Specialist Doctor. 08 vacancies are advertised for the post of Contract Medical Practitioners. There are 16 vacancies for the post of Nursing Sister and 16 vacancies for the post of Hospital Attendants. In addition, one vacancy is available for the post of Pharmacist. Specialist Doctors are entitled to receive Rs 95000 monthly salary. Contract Medical Practitioners are entitled to receive Rs 75000 monthly salary. Nursing Sisters are entitled to receive Rs 59439 while Pharmacists are entitled to receive Rs 40470 as monthly salary. Hospital Attendants are entitled to receive Rs 21419 as monthly remuneration. All posts are contractual and at Covid Care Center, Kazipet under the Medical Department of Secunderabad Division, SCR.
Candidates must possess the minimum educational qualifications and comply with the specified age limit in order to apply for individual posts. MBBS degree holders with a PG Diploma in General Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine or Chest Medicine are eligible to apply for the post of Specialist Doctor. MBBS degree holders who have completed their Internship are eligible to apply for the post of Contract Medical Practitioner. The age of the applicants for these posts must be within 18 to 53 years. Retired government doctors within 67 years of age can also apply for these posts. Candidates having qualification of GNM are eligible to apply for the post of Nursing Sister provided that they are at least 18 years old. Those who have completed Class 12 in Science stream and acquired a Diploma in Pharmacy or Bachelor in Pharmacy are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist. Candidates who have passed Class 10 or ITI are eligible to apply for the post of Hospital Attendant. All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
Selected candidates are to be appointed for a period of 04 months only. Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through telephonic or online interview, South Central Railway will communicate the date, time and venue of the interview to the eligible applicants. In addition, candidates must also appear in the walk-in interview along with original documents and their attested copies.
