The State Project Manager, POSHAN Abhiyaan, Assam has published a recruitment notification for the post of District Coordinator, District Project Assistant, Block Coordinator and Block Project Assistant. The recruitment to the said posts is on contractual basis. Candidates can download the official notification with No. SPMU (POSHAN)/Dist.Rect/55/2020/35 from socialwelfare.assam.gov.in. Eligible aspirants can submit their forms before August 31, 2020.
For the recruitment at some district and block level under POSHAN Abhiyan, Assam the conducting body has announced 37 vacancies. Candidates who are selected as District Coordinator receives a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000/-, District Project Assistant gets Rs. 18,000/-, Block Coordinator receives Rs. 20,000/- and Block Project Assistant gets Rs. 15,000/-.
Candidates who have graduation degree or certificate/ Diploma in Computer Sciences/ IT can apply for District Coordinator. A graduation degree in any discipline is required for Block Project Assistant post. To apply for District Project Assistant, candidates should have a graduation degree/ post-graduate diploma in Management/ Social Sciences/ Nutrition. Those who possess a graduate degree in any discipline can apply for Block Coordinator post. Eligible candidates can submit their applications only for the district they are a resident of.
Along with the educational qualification, candidates also have to meet the experience qualification as specified. The candidate who has 04 years of work experience in application maintenance and support are eligible for District Coordinator post. They should also have formal training on IT/ computer with experience working with technology and software application support. To apply for District Project Assistant candidates should possess 03 years of work experience in social program and Government Programs in social sectors such as Health, Nutrition, Education, Water and Sanitation. Applicants must have worked with front line workers in any social development program of the government to apply for Block Project Assistant. A minimum of 01 years of experience of working with community/ local government is required for this post.
Fulfilling the eligibility norms allows candidates to submit their form against the post announced. The applications forms can be submitted through the offline procedure to respective district Social Welfare District Officer, Assam. Candidates can get the application form from socialwelfare.assam.gov.in. They have to click on the advertisement under ‘Latest’ section > application form. Along with the application form, candidates have to submit self-attested copies of the educational qualification, age, experience in a separate envelope. The cover of the envelope should be marked to the concerned post.
Candidates who are shortlisted for the particular district are called for the interview. The schedule for the interview will be intimated to candidates through their email address as mentioned in the application form.
