SNAP 2018 Important Instructions for 16 Dec Exam

Symbiosis University is conducting the SNAP Entrance Examination on December 16, 2018. The exam will take place in one single slot from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in 92 cities all over India. The exam is a gateway to one of the top management institutes of India. So, clearing the SNAP 2018 cutoff is the foremost step in securing admission to SIBM Pune, SCMHRD and other 13 Symbiosis institutes. Following that Group Exercise and Personal Interview will take place in respective institutes.

Important Exam Instructions

Recently, the university has released the Test Day Guide for SNAP 2018. Candidates can check the same from the official website. One of the important points to note are that the test takes must carry a colored print out of the Admit Card. Black and white print of the hall ticket will not be acceptable inside the exam hall.

SNAP 2018

  • Carry only colored admit card, Id proof, Pen.
  • Affix photograogh on the hall ticket.
  • Reportig Time – 12:00 Noon
  • Practise previous year question papers

Apart from the admit card candidates must have a valid & original photo identity proof. Though SNAP is a computer-based examination, still, students have to carry a ballpoint pen with them. The test administrator will distribute rough sheets for the calculation to the students.

The reporting time for the examination is 12:00 Noon. Candidates must locate the exam center atleast one day before the day of examination.

On the examination day, candidates will get the entry inside the exam hall only after the document verification and biometric process. Before entering the exam hall, candidates must check the seat number, block number, and roll number on the notice board. Also, all the debarred items need to be left outside the exam hall.

After the completion of the exam, candidates must keep the admit card until the completion of the admission process. The SNAP 2018 result is expected to release in the second week of January 2019.

Preparation Tips

As only a few days has been left, candidates must not start any new topic at this point in time. It is advisable that candidates refer to SNAP previous questions papers, in order to understand the exam pattern. The papers will also help to brush up the important concepts of the exam. Candidates can also appear for the free mock test provided by the exam conducting body.

Though SNAP is not difficult as CAT, still the duration of the exam is the major hurdle. As candidates have to attempt 150 questions in 2 hours, it is advisable that candidates attempt the maximum number of questions from the section in which they are comfortable. SNAP does not have a sectional cut-off, so candidates can maximize the attempts accordingly.

For the SNAP examination, candidates must revise the important topics like Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry in Quantitative Ability. Revise idioms, grammar rules, parts of speech in the English section. For general awareness, the best way is to practice previous year papers and read the type of questions that could appear in this section. For example, if last year there was a question from BAFTA awards then read the prize winners for last two years.

All the best for SNAP 2018!
