SLPRB Recruiting Junior Assistant, Computor and Steno for 40 Posts, Online Application Begins on August 24, Details Here!

The online application window for SLPRB Recruitment 2020 will be closed by September 12, 2020.

In the recent notification, State Level Police Recruitment Board has announced 40 vacancies for the post of Junior Assistant, Computor and Stenographer. Online application form submission starts from August 24, 2020. Applicants must ensure that they submit their form on or before September 12, 2020. Candidates who are intending to submit their form for the announced posts must download the official notification from slprbassam.in.

Out of the total 40 vacancies, 32 vacancies are announced for Junior Assistant (District Level), 05 vacancies for Junior Assistant (HQ Level), 02 vacancies for Computor (HQ level) and 01 vacancies for Stenographer (HQ level). The recruitment for these posts is under the Commissionerate of Labour Department, Assam. Those who are recruited under these posts receive a monthly salary of Rs 14000-60500 (Pay Band No.2).

Applications from both male and female candidates of Assam state are invited. Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline to apply for Junior Assistant and Computor posts. Also, they must have excellent computer skills for handling and text on the computer system. To apply for Stenographer post, candidates must be a graduate with National Trade Certificate in stenography and should be able to type 80 WPM in English Stenography. Candidates age should not exceed that of 38 years while applying. Also, they must have attained the lower age limit of 18 years as on January 01, 2020.

Candidates having the educational qualification can submit their forms through slprbassam.in. While submitting the form, candidates have to mark the post they are applying by giving the first, second and third preference. They also have to upload certain documents which are as follows, passport size photograph, signature, certificate of proof of age, mark sheet and certificate of graduation, computer proficiency certificate, stenography certificate, caste certificate and EWS certificate. As per the official notification, there is no application fee for SLPRB recruitment.

Selection procedure for this recruitment includes two stages – First Phase Test and Second Phase Test. The First Phase test is a written examination. Candidates have to answer objective type question. There will be 100 questions; each carrying equal marks. Those who qualify the first phase test are called for the Second Phase Test. The merit list for the same can be downloaded from the official website, slprbassam.in. This stage includes the practise test, spelling test, typing test and computer-related test. For the final selection, candidates have to be present for the document verification round. After all the stages are organized, a final merit list for SLPRB recruitment releases on the website accordingly.
