The State Bank of India has released the official schedule for conducting the selection interviews of 2020 Specialist Officer recruitment. In addition, SBI has also published the merit list of candidates who are shortlisted for the interviews. SBI is going to conduct the interviews of selected candidates on July 28, 2020, from 10.00 AM onwards. The complete interview schedule in terms of the date & timing and the merit list of candidates shortlisted for the interview is available at the official SBI website i.e. sbi.co.in under the “Current Openings” section. Candidates who applied for the aforementioned recruitment against advertisement number CRPD/SCO/2020-21/09 can check to see if they are shortlisted for the interview.
As per the schedule published by the bank, the interviews for specified candidates bearing registration numbers 105203082, 105201422, 105200186, 105202824, 105201605, and 105202704 are scheduled to be conducted on July 28, 2020, from 10.00 AM onward. The specific venue where the interview of each of the aforementioned registration numbers is to be held is also indicated in the schedule of interview. The interviews are however to be conducted over video-conferencing from venues in Mumbai, Pune, Ernakulam, and Kolkata. The merit list published alongside also enlists the aforementioned registration numbers who have been shortlisted for selection and appointment through the interviews.
SBI released a number of employment notices for the recruitment of eligible individuals under the Specialist Officer cadre of posts. Advertisement CRPD/SCO/2020-21/09 was also published in this regard to notify about vacancies and terms of recruitment to the posts of Banking Supervisory Specialist and Manager – Anytime Channel. 62 vacancies were advertised for the post of Banking Supervisory Specialist while 37 vacancies were advertised for the post of Manager – Anytime Channel. Subsequently, SBI conducted the online registration process from June 23, 2020, to an extended date of July 07, 2020, for eligible applicants.
As per Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2020-21/09, through which the particular recruitment was advertised, the posts of banking Supervisory Specialist are to be filled up by appointing selected applicants on a contractual basis. The bank has published the merit list of candidates shortlisted for recruitment to the post of Banking Supervisory Specialist. Therefore candidates who appear in the interviews and are shortlisted for appointments are to be appointed for a contractual period only. Such successful candidates are to be posted at the SBI Corporate Center, Mumbai.
During the application process, candidates were required to upload the scanned copies of the supporting documents such as educational qualifications, date of birth, etc. However, it was notified that candidates have to furnish the original copies during document verification and joining. Selected candidates are to be appointed for a period of 01 years during which they are entitled to receive, in addition to the CTC, other allowances as applicable for the grade of General Manager of the Bank.
