Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (deemed to be university) has released Sathabama All India Entrance Examination (SAEEE) exam date. Online as well as physical application form for admission cum entrance exam will be available from October 18, 2019. The last date to apply is April 4, 2020.
The exam for admission to BE / B.Tech, and B.Arch will be held from April 14 to 19, 2020. Before exam, the slot booking window will be opened in the second week of April. Thereafter result will be announced on April 30, 2020.
It may be noted that a few days ago, when the exam calendar was first published, the start date of application form submission was announced as October 16, 2019. It has since, been changed to October 18, 2019.
After 12th, engineering is among the most sought after options by science students. Herein, students can appear in exams such as JEE on national level, and exams like SAEEE on institute level. Most engineering entrance exams in India are such that they can be prepared for alongside JEE.
The offline application form can either by purchased at university campus on a payment of Rs. 650 or can be requested by sending a letter along with a demand draft drawn in favour of the competent authority. The request letter should reach the university address before the prescribed last date.
Whereas the online application form can be accessed at the official university address (sathyabama.ac.in). The application fees can be paid in either of the modes, online or offline, before the last date of application submission.
According to the admission calendar of SAEEE 2020, the computer-based examination for Sathyabama University engineering programmes will be held in different slots on the aforementioned dates. The 150-minute duration online examination will begin from 9:00 am for the first slot, 12:30 pm for the second slot and the third slot beginning at 4:00 pm.
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology was previously known as the Sathyabama Engineering College. Founded in 1987, the institute is now accredited grade A by the NAAC. The institute offers 27 under graduate programmes for class 12th pass students, and 41 post graduate programs for bachelors degree holders.
The BE programs offered by Sathyabama are Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering. Likewise offered B.Tech courses are Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical, Biotechnology. In addition, B.Arch is also offered.
Class 12th pass students who had scored at least 60% or 6 CGPA in class 10th, and passed 10+2 with mathematics, physics, chemistry with an average of 45% or above, can apply to BE/B.Tech at Sathyabama University.
After applying, candidate should keep the application number safely for future reference. The same data will be used to check application status and admit card. For all these, students need to visit sathyabama.ac.in.
