National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2021. Earlier, the deadline for online registration was November 19, 2020. However, the candidates can now apply until December 03, 2020.
NTA decided to extend registration deadline after receiving various representations from candidates who were not able to apply because of numerous reasons like delay in getting the certificates, facing issue while uploading the image, etc. NTA has clarified the same in the official notice, which was uploaded on nta.ac.in.
The registration facility for AISSEE will now end at 5:00 pm, on December 03, 2020. Subsequently, the deadline for paying the application fee is 11:50 pm, on the same day.
Along with extending the registration deadline, NTA has also informed that it will open correction facility. The facility will open on December 5, 2020, and candidates will be able to edit the details until December, 12, 2020. All the registered candidates will be able to edit details via the correction facility.
Once all the details have been corrected, NTA will scrutinize the application form and will issue admit card against the perfectly submitted application form. The admit card for AISSEE 2021 will release on December 23, 2020. The admit card will also be issued online and in it, exam date, time, center address, instructions, and other important details shall be mentioned.
There is no change in the date of examination which is scheduled to be conducted on January 10, 2021.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for AISSEE 2021 by first, registering on the official website. They must click on the ‘New Registration’ option, enter personal details and contact details, type a suitable password, choose a security question and answer, enter the security pin and click on the ‘submit’ button to submit the registration form. Successfully registered candidates must then proceed to fill the application form with the required details such as personal information, educational details, communication details, select choice of schools, exam cities, etc. Aspirants must also upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the AISSE 2021 application form. The last step includes paying the application fee using net banking, credit/debit card, etc.
AISSEE 2021 application fee is decided depending on the category to which the candidates belong. General and defence category candidates must pay Rs. 550 whereas SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.400 as application fee. AISSEE 2021 entrance exam is scheduled in January 2021 and registration process for the same has been extended till December 3, 2020.
